One of my many failed Star Trek fanfics... As far as I can remember it was supposed to be post-Dominion War but a new Cardassian war, or else it was a split-off universe where the Dominion War lasted much longer. I started writing it while DS9 was still on the air. That's all I really know. My original intro text below:
Welcome aboard the USS McAuliffe! The McAuliffe is a Federation warship (registry NCC-52903) operating out of the Bajor Sector, Alpha Quadrant. Her history begins with her launch in 2399 (the late 76K stardates), and the logs posted here begin on SD77001.0. The Federation-Cardassian War of the late 24th century is the general setting; most of our missions have been to rescue colonies that should have been evacuated years ago.
